The London HR Connection Appoints New Board

August 16, 2010 – The London HR Connection (LHRC), a networking group for HR professionals at all levels who work in the London area, has announced that it has appointed a new chair, vice chair and board members. Previously vice chair, the new chair is John Maxted, who is also the founder and CEO of Digby Morgan, an HR recruitment services firm. Mr. Maxted is a chartered fellow of the CIPD whose early career was in HR with British Airways and Arthur Andersen. “I’m also pleased to report that we have further strengthened the board with a range of highly experienced and senior HR professionals to help make our agenda and events even more responsive and relevant to the issues that the profession is facing,” said Mr. Maxted. Other new board members include: Fiona Marshall, formerly the people and development director at Cofunds, who joins the board as its new vice chair; Jane Saunders, the managing partner at HR transformation consultancy, Orion Partners; Robert Hicks, HR director at Exponential-e, the network service provider; Paul Gollan, a visiting associate professor in the Employment Relations and Organizational Behavior Group in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics; and Kristina Lukaviciute, HR manager at City YMCA.
