The Buffkin Group Places New CEO at Tennessee Kidney Foundation

BRENTWOOD, TN, June 11, 2016 — The Buffkin Group has placed Heather Powell as the new CEO of the Tennessee Kidney Foundation. The search was led by Roland Lundy, Partner with the Buffkin Group, as part of the firm’s Non-Profit vertical.

Mrs. Powell joined the Tennessee Kidney Foundation team from Ronald McDonald House, where she served for 10 years as their Development Director. Prior to this, she worked for Habitat for Humanity as their Resource Development Director. Mrs. Powell’s top priority in her new position as CEO will be to build awareness in Tennessee about the vital kidney care resources provided by the Tennessee Kidney Foundation. She will help strengthen their mission to improve the health and wellbeing of Tennesseans affected by kidney disease through education, prevention, treatment, advocacy, and promotion of organ donation.
