SuccessFactors Assists Lancaster Landmark Hotel Group

November 3, 2011 – The Lancaster Landmark Hotel Group has deployed a competency framework using SuccessFactors, Inc., a provider of on-demand employee performance and talent management solutions, to identify hospitality talent and improve employee recruitment, retention, and engagement. The Lancaster Landmark Hotel specializes in the four and five star sector of the hotel market. Will Newbigging, director of organizational development at The Lancaster, said: “We knew as a group that we needed the ability to hire the attitude and train the skill – not the other way around. Prior to implementing SuccessFactors, the feedback and the decision as to where somebody stood with their performance, and what opportunities were there for them were not really consolidated.”
