SpenglerFox Launches SME Board Solutions Practice

August 11, 2011 – Executive search firm SpenglerFox has launched a new ‘SME board solutions practice’ which provides support and training to directors and board members. The new practice will be lead by Jacques de Jager, an experienced and seasoned financial services professional with a track record of over 20 years in international banking. He will be supported by senior advisor Shimi Shah, an entrepreneur and venture capitalist who has almost 15 years experience in fund management. In conjunction, SpenglerFox have also launched a specialist board level search which can work in tandem with the SME board solutions practice. “Whilst gender diversity remains a key issue, with female NEDs on quoted boards in single percent digits, adopting a 'one size fits all' corporate governance initiative across the EU will be counter-productive,” said Ms. Shah. “Each country and company has a different culture and needs to find an experienced board that can broaden and add to the operational management teams as per the needs of each company.” SpenglerFox is a provider of executive search and human resources consultancy services worldwide. The firm is part of the International Grafton Group which was founded in Ireland in 1982 and is now one of the largest resourcing solutions providers of European origin.
