Spencer Stuart Heading CEO Search for Numerex

August 17, 2015 – Numerex Corporation has retained Spencer Stuart to lead its search for a chief executive officer. Current chairman and CEO, Stratton Nicolaides, will be assisting with the search process and will continue as CEO until a successor has been selected. He will then continue as executive chairman and help develop overall corporate strategy and provide leadership, and build consensus in conjunction with the CEO.

The company said that the right candidate must have proven expertise in M2M and IoT technology and markets. Numerex is a provider of interactive and on-demand machine-to-machine (M2M) products and technology enabling the Internet of Things (IoT). The company’s cloud-based solutions deliver actionable and secure Smart Data to its customers that produce new revenue streams and create operating efficiencies designed to improve profitability.

Spencer Stuart has conducted nearly 2,000 senior-level executive search and board director assignments for technology firms globally, including venture capital-funded startups, private equity-backed businesses and high-profile global corporations.

Since 2009, the firm’s CEO practice has conducted nearly 1,500 CEO search and succession assignments. Recruiter Jim Citrin leads its North American CEO sector group. During his 21 years with the firm, Mr. Citrin has worked with clients on more than 600 CEO, board director, CFO and other top management searches and CEO succession assignments. He is currently spearheading the chief executive search for social networking site Twitter.
