Spencer Stuart Expands Financial Services Practice

January 29, 2016 – Spencer Stuart has added Peter C. Roberts as a consultant in its financial services practice. He will be based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Mr. Roberts spent more than 20 years with global real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle, where most recently he served as the firm’s chief strategy officer. In his tenure with Jones Lang, he held a number of leadership roles, including a decade as CEO for the Americas.

Mr. Roberts is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Economic Club of Chicago. In addition, he serves on the board of trustees of the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and the Latin School of Chicago.

“Coming directly from industry, Peter brings to both our clients and candidates an incredibly deep understanding of the talent and leadership issues affecting business performance,” said Charlie Falcone, who heads Spencer Stuart’s Chicago office. “Through his many years in leadership roles at Jones Lang LaSalle, Peter is well-versed on the opportunities and challenges organizations face and what is required of leaders to capture those opportunities and address the challenges.”

The financial services industry represents one-fifth of Spencer Stuart’s worldwide client base. The firm conducted nearly 4,500 searches in the sector from 2006 to 2011, the most recent metrics available. Alice Au leads the firm’s  global financial services practice out of Hong Kong.
