Shilton Sharpe Quarry Opens New Office In Dubai

June 10, 2016 – Shilton Sharpe Quarry (SSQ), an international legal search consultancy, has opened an office in Dubai. Senior manager Matthew Bold will be responsible for the new location.

Mr. Bold has over eight years of legal search and recruitment experience in the Middle East and has been with SSQ since 2013. He previously served as managing consultant, legal search, with Stanford Resourcing Limited. He is joined in Dubai by SSQ manager Jeremey Mead.

SSQ has operated in the Middle East market for a number of years and has built up a strong track record of partner and associate placements, team moves and office launches, having worked with clients across the GCC in countries including the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This launch reinforces SSQ’s commitment to the region and enhances its market intelligence, local knowledge and language skills on offer to clients.

“Opening an office in Dubai is the next logical step for SSQ following the successful track record we have built across the Middle East,” said SSQ CEO Nick Shilton. “It is a unique market and now we are able to offer our clients direct access to consultants on the ground on a daily basis to help them achieve their recruitment goals.”

One of the world’s fastest growing economies, Dubai’s current gross domestic product is projected at $107.1 billion. The Persian Gulf and its coastal areas are the world’s largest single source of crude oil, and related industries dominate the region, making it a hotbed of activity for search firms with an eye on expansion.

SSQ has a team of global consultants with experience in providing legal search and recruitment services for a broad range of international and domestic law firms, as well as companies and banks in the U.K., Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Asia, Australia, the U.S., New Zealand, the Middle East, South Africa, Switzerland, Russia and central and eastern Europe. SSQ expanded its search staff in Europe recently with the additions of Anne Pichon in Paris and lawyer Filippo Mazzotti in Milan. Ms. Pichon, who joined the firm as an associate, recruits in-house lawyers and legal professionals at all levels of seniority and for all industries. She focuses on growing the firm’s presence across the in-house legal recruitment market in France. Mr. Mazzotti is a consultant in the private practice and in-house teams at SSQ, recruiting lawyers on behalf of a broad range of international and domestic law firms in Italy.
