Salveson Stetson Group Strengthens Life Sciences Practice Group

December 8, 2014 – Recruiting firm Salveson Stetson Group has grown its life sciences practice group with the addition of Mark Gold, former CEO of Gold Partners, who joins the firm as a strategic partner. Mr. Gold and his firm have placed senior-level physician leaders in global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. “Mark’s extensive industry knowledge, network and reputation – married with Salveson Stetson’s global track record in successful search assignments for clinical, scientific and medical placements in the life sciences sector – will be an enormous asset to our clients,” said John Salveson, principal and co-founder. “Recruiting accomplished physician researchers and leaders to join life sciences companies is a pressing need for many of our clients, who will welcome Mark’s expertise and connections.” Throughout his career, Mr. Gold led Gold Partners, an executive search practice that specialized in physician placements for the life sciences industry. The firm placed more than 400 physicians in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Gold Partners closed earlier this year, and the practice will now operate as part of Salveson Stetson Group’s life sciences practice.
