Rutherford Cross Opens Interim Division

September 5, 2014 – Scottish-based specialist search firm Rutherford Cross has launched a new interim employment division and added Derek Lauder and Lucy Edgar to lead it. The two will oversee expansion in the interim market across the Central Belt with Mr. Lauder focusing on commerce and industry in the west as well as the public sector. Ms. Edgar will be responsible for commerce and industry in the east as well as the financial services market. “In a rapidly recovering jobs market, there is a substantial scarcity of talent and there are longer lead times to fill permanent posts. Interims can resolve these problems. Structural changes in the financial sector are also creating demand for change professionals on a project basis,” said Mark Lewis, head of CFO services at Rutherford Cross.
