Quick Leonard Kieffer Names Life Sciences Practice Leader

February 22, 2016 – Executive search firm Quick Leonard Kieffer has appointed Patricia Hall as a managing partner. She will be responsible for leading the expansion of the firm’s life sciences­­­ practice.

Ms. Hall has over 20 years of experience focused on general management, commercial and operations leadership for the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and consumer health and wellness sectors. She has placed senior leaders into public organizations and has helped build executive talent pipelines for investor-backed startups and portfolio companies.

During her career, she has conducted over 150 executive searches across the healthcare continuum, providing clients senior leaders who, in many cases, have added sustainable value to client management teams.

Previously, Ms. Hall was a managing partner with Chicago-based North Line Search Partners. Before that, she was a member of the global life sciences practice at Heidrick & Struggles, where she partnered with pharmaceutical, biologics and vaccines, OTC, medical device and diagnostics companies to build and enhance their senior management teams.

She has worked with Merck, Abbott, GE Healthcare, Medtronic, Walgreen’s, Pfizer, Daiichi Sankyo and numerous privately-held and private equity-backed organizations. Earlier in her career, she was with Korn Ferry Futurstep conducting senior searches for both global and mid-market life sciences and consumer clients.

Quick Leonard Kieffer is a Chicago-based search firm that specializes in the placement of executive level employees across the healthcare industry. The firm was established in 1999 by co-founders, president Roger Quick and chairman Michael C. Kieffer.

In recent months, the firm has recruited CEOs for Alabama Hospital Association, Villa St. Francis in Milwaukee, Vidant Health in Greenville, Cook County Health & Hospitals System in Chicago, and Providence Health Plan in Rhode Island.

Healthcare is among the most rapidly growing employment fields, according to analysts at Hunt Scanlon Media which tracks trends in the executive search and leadership solutions space.

According to the most recent U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report, healthcare employment increased by 37,000 in January, following a gain in October (+24,000). Healthcare has gained 470,000 jobs over the past 12 months, with about two-fifths of the growth occurring in hospitals.
