Pure Search Acquires Correlate Search U.K.

July 26, 2013 – Pure Search, an international search and selection firm, has acquired Correlate Search U.K., a specialist financial markets headhunter. The acquisition marks the launch of a new division for Pure Search in the U.K. and is a continuation of the firm’s overall strategy to expand in relevant fields both in Europe and internationally. Chris Nelson, co-founder of Pure, said: “Correlate’s governance and front office practice is extremely well established in the UK and Pure has a similar reputation and offering in Asia. These new business lines also complement Pure’s existing practice areas of tax, finance, legal, and corporate finance & private equity, enabling us to expand our service offering in Europe.” The new division, which will continue to trade as Correlate Search, will be managed by Gavin Bonnet (head of BMC/ governance recruitment), and Simon Head (head of global markets/ front office recruitment). They are joined by Matthew Hutchin, James Gardner, Stafford Bent and Kumar Gidvani to focus on compliance, equities and CFO/COO functions respectively.
