McCormick Group Fills CEO Search for Natural Products Association

July 20, 2012 – Executive search firm The McCormick Group has placed C. John Shaw as executive director and CEO of the Natural Products Association. Ivan Adler, principal of The McCormick Group and leader of its government affairs practice, completed the search. Before joining NPA, Mr. Shaw had been assistant secretary for environment, safety and health at the U.S. Department of Energy, Senate Investigative Counsel for former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-TN) and had worked at the Portland Cement Association and the Washington, D.C. law firm Patton Boggs.
