McCabe Joins DHR International as Partner, Life Sciences

NEW YORK, NY, January, 19, 2017 — Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce that Elizabeth McCabe has joined the firm as Partner, and will be based in the firm’s New York office. McCabe has significant expertise conducting global searches for Chief Medical Officers, Chief Scientific Officers, Chief Commercial officers for VC and PE-backed, high growth companies in biopharma and medical device sectors.

Prior to joining DHR International, McCabe served as the Executive Vice President- US for Coulter Partners, a UK-based life sciences boutique.  There she was responsible for developing relationships with US venture capital and private equity firms.

Previously, McCabe was the founder and Managing Partner of Artis Biomedica, LLC.; a retained firm focused on C-Suite and Board of Director searches for high growth and established biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies, in the US and Europe.

McCabe also served as the Recruiting Partner for Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, a leading life sciences private equity firm with $3.0 B under management. She was responsible for developing strategic relationships with C-Level executives across all sectors of the life sciences industry. She also advised portfolio companies on recruiting leadership teams, board members, and advisors.

Earlier in her career, McCabe was a member of Heidrick & Struggles’ Global Healthcare Practice.

McCabe earned Bachelor of Arts Degree from Gettysburg College.  She has lived and worked in France and is fluent in French. She resides in Manhattan and currently serves as a member of the Board for Downtown Little League.
