MasterCard SVP HR Joins the Conference Board

October 12, 2010 – The Conference Board has named Rebecca Ray as managing director of human capital. Ms. Ray was previously senior vice president, global talent management & development for MasterCard Worldwide, where she was responsible for organizational learning, training, management and leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, executive assessment, coaching, organizational development, and succession planning. She also has held executive roles at Comcast, American Skandia, Prudential Securities, and Merrill Lynch, and an academic appointment at New York University. “Rebecca has a wealth of experience in both the theory and the practice of human capital,” said Jon Spector, CEO of The Conference Board. “Like the Conference Board itself, she represents a bridge between the research and the practitioners who must understand how to use that research to better serve their organizations.”
