Major, Lindsey & Africa Appoints COO

August 17, 2009 – Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa has appointed Simon Robinson as chief operating officer. Mr. Robinson will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of MLA on a global basis. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior vice president at Aerotek, am MLA sister company. At Aerotek, he was responsible for the growth, strategic development and financial performance of the company’s multiple service lines in more than 35 major markets on the East Coast. He provided overall direction and leadership to more than 700 employees in his region, which earned revenues of over $500 million annually. Immediately preceding this role, Mr. Robinson was VP of professional and organizational development at Aerotek where he led initiatives to implement key organizational systems, tools and resources designed to enhance employee engagement, performance management and individual development. “I am excited to have Simon join MLA’s executive leadership team," said Carter Brown, president of MLA Legal, LLC.
