J. Veronica Biggins Selected for Inclusion as a NACD Directorship Honoree

PHILADELPHIA, December 2, 2015 — J. Veronica Biggins, Managing Director at Diversified Search and head of their Board Practice, has been selected for inclusion in the 2015 NACD Directorship 100. Each year the publication recognizes the most influential leaders in the boardroom, and the complete list will be published in the November/December issue of NACD Directorship magazine.

The ninth annual Directorship 100 is comprised of 100 individuals, including 50 public company directors, who exemplify the knowledge, leadership, and excellence in corporate governance that NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) promotes.  Nominees are solicited from NACD’s constituents, and the slate of nominees is presented to an independent selection committee whose selection is then ratified by the NACD board of directors.

Biggins has served as a Director on Fortune 500 boards for over 15 years and is currently on the boards of Avnet and Southwest Airlines. She has been recognized by the Board of Directors Network (BDN) for her advocacy of women on corporate boards.  She served as Assistant to the President of the United States and Director of Presidential Personnel under William Jefferson Clinton. Prior to joining the White House, Veronica was one of the highest ranking women in the banking industry. She has nearly 20 years of experience as a Senior Partner in executive search.
