IRC Names New Americas Leader

May 9, 2017 – IRC Global Executive Search Partners (IRC) has named Tom Berray, managing partner of Cabot Consultants, as its new Americas leader. He takes over from Jane Lyons, managing partner of Rhodes Associates, who stepped down from the role after two years as the IRC Americas regional leader.

Mr. Berray has worked in executive search for more than 15 years. His areas of expertise include general management, business development, human resources, operations, sales and marketing, finance, and technology. He has conducted searches for early-stage, venture-backed to Fortune 100 companies in software, internet, aerospace/defense, biotechnology, energy, financial services, government and professional services, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution and logistics, associations, and not-for-profit industries.

Prior to founding Cabot Consultants, Mr. Berray was a principal in the technology practice of Heidrick & Struggles, where he recruited senior IT executives. Before entering the search field, he worked with Gartner’s executive programs, advising over 200 CIOs and CTOs. He previously held positions at Computer Associates and Xerox Corporation.

“I am excited and honored to take on the IRC Americas leader role and I thank Jane Lyons for her leadership over the past two years,” said Mr. Berray. “I look forward to building on Jane’s work to help grow IRC’s capabilities and influence across the Americas region. I firmly believe that IRC’s business model of ‘globally connected and locally committed’ enables our member firms to offer the highest quality and value services to our clients both locally and across the globe.”
