Hospitality Spotlight Opens Doors
June 5, 2015 – Recruiting firm Hospitality Spotlight has been launched in San Diego to serve the talent and leadership needs of travel and hospitality companies. Zoe Connolly and Ellis Connolly are co-founders of the new company, both of whom are backed by 25 years of experience in a variety of recruiting and executive roles throughout the travel industry.
The travel and hospitality market is estimated to generate an annual economic impact of $6.5 trillion worldwide this year. In the U.S. alone the $1.5 trillion industry accounts for nearly eight million jobs – more than five percent of total jobs across the country. “The travel and hospitality ecosystem has shifted dramatically over the years, moving from ‘bookings’ to full customer experiences,” said Ms. Connolly.
“To remain competitive, companies must identify candidates who understand the intricacies of this shift, and find people who go beyond ‘job requirements’ and instead elevate an entire organization.”
Ms. Connolly previously was a recruiter with Booz Allen Hamilton and prior to that gained experience at OnSite Health and SOS International, Ltd. Mr. Connolly served as executive vice president of the Americas for TrustYou.
