Hays Plc Inks Deal With New York City FC

August 18, 2014 – According the New York Post, The Big Apple’s professional soccer team, New York City FC, has signed a three-year partnership with Hays Plc, a U.K.-based executive recruiting firm; Hays will become the team’s official recruitment partner. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hays said it plans to help NYCFC, which is owned by the New York Yankees and Manchester City of the U.K.’s Premier League, recruit off-field talent. “Sponsorship is changing,” said Hays chief marketing officer Sholto Douglas-Home. “Partnering with NYCFC allows us to bring their club’s experience to a wider audience rather than the other way around only.”
