Hays Japan Launches Supply Chain Business

December 15, 2010 – Hays Specialist Recruitment Japan K.K. (Hays Japan) has launched its supply chain specialist business unit, to cover placement services relating to supply chain and logistics and procurement. This marks Hays' tenth specialized business unit in Japan. The launch responds to increased demand for qualified supply chain specialists among local employers, with a particular focus on highly qualified bi-lingual candidates. Specifically, the supply chain business unit is committed to director/managerial roles covering supply chain and operations and logistics, as well as specialist roles ranging from demand planner to supply planner, inventory controller and import/export specialists. “We see an increased focus on the supply chain with local employers in driving performance here, and the launch of the supply chain business unit responds to the clear demand for qualified specialists,” said Christine Wright, Hays Japan representative director. “This is our tenth specialization in as many years in Japan, and I expect to grow our offering further over coming months.”
