Greenwich Harbor Partners Recruits VP Marketing for IBM Cloud

June 10, 2015 – Greenwich Harbor Partners has recruited Carrie Palin as vice president of marketing for IBM Cloud Services.

At IBM, she will lead the marketing effort for Cloud Data Services globally. Previously, Ms. Palin had a successful 16-year career at Dell through progressive positions. Most recently, she was executive director of marketing for global enterprise demand generation. The IBM search was co-led by Carrie and Ted Pryor, managing directors at Greenwich Harbor Partners. “We were delighted to work with IBM Cloud Data Services to recruit a global marketing and business generation executive of Carrie Palin’s talent. It is still early days in cloud marketing and a challenge to find marketing officers with extension cloud experience, so we looked for strong functional skills that could cross over,” they said in a joint statement.

IBM Cloud Data Services is built around Cloudant Inc., which was acquired by IBM in 2014. Its mission is to provide a base for developers to engage and build platforms using a comprehensive set of rich, integrated data services covering content, data and analytics.

Greenwich Harbor Partners focuses on finding senior executives and board directors for media, entertainment and technology companies.
