Egon Zehnder Names Dallas Office Leader

March 31, 2016 – Egon Zehnder has named Arun Dhingra as head of the firm’s Dallas office. He assumes the role from Christopher Pfeiffer, who led the office over the past five years.

“As head of the firm’s U.S. financial officers practice, Arun has helped dozens of public and private clients find the leaders they need to manage growth in highly dynamic environments,” said Karl Alleman, Egon Zehnder’s U.S. managing partner. “This experience makes him particularly well-suited to lead our office in Dallas, given the imperative many organizations there face to capitalize on the broad economic strength of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.” Mr. Dhingra will continue in his U.S. financial officers practice leadership role at the firm.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Mr. Dhingra was a vice president at Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, where he led the firm’s financial services practice. Earlier in his career, he was a principal in the management consulting practice of Price Waterhouse, where he specialized in the finance function in  the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Pfeiffer will return to serving the firm’s healthcare clients, with an emphasis on advising healthcare-centered private equity firms and healthcare services organizations. He will also work closely with boards, CEOs and executive teams on succession issues and executive assessment & development engagements.

“Christopher’s leadership of the Dallas office during the area’s significant diversification allowed Egon Zehnder to deepen its relationship with one of the country’s key economic hubs,” said Mr. Alleman. “He has provided a solid foundation for Arun to build upon in this new phase in the office’s trajectory.”

Mr. Alleman recently assumed his new role as head of U.S. operations at Egon Zehnder. Greig T. Schneider, who had been in charge of American operations since 2011, was elected to Zehnder’s board of directors. Mr. Schneider will continue his work in C-suite succession planning and talent consulting, a practice which he has led globally. Mr. Alleman led the firm’s Chicago office and launched its  industrial practice, which has grown to serve an extensive portfolio of multinational companies, private equity firms and family-owned businesses. Earlier in the year, Egon Zehnder announced other leadership changes in its Boston office.
