Egon Zehnder Names CEO

January 23, 2014 – Global executive search firm Egon Zehnder has appointed Rajeev Vasudeva as its new chief executive. Mr. Vasudeva joins Damien O'Brien in the top leadership suite at Zehnder, with Mr. O'Brien now assuming solely the chairman role — effectively splitting his dual executive leadership titles (chairman and CEO) — to accommodate Mr. Vasudeva's position. "Rajeev's appointment reflects our firm's commitment to continuity of leadership," said Mr. O'Brien. Mr. Vasudeva is currently based in New Delhi, India where he has grown the firm's footprint over 19 years with the firm. He has also spearheaded the firm's expansion into Africa and across the Middle East — opening both Zehnder's Johannesburg and Dubai offices. Founded in 1964, Egon Zehnder has 420 consultants, operating from 66 offices in 40 countries.
