Diversified Search Recruits CTO for Catholic Health Initiatives
PHILADELPHIA, April 4, 2016 — Diversified Search (Diversified), one of the nation’s top ten executive search firms, has announced the recruitment of Ginna Raahauge as Chief Technology Officer for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), the nation’s second-largest nonprofit health system. Raahauge is an accomplished senior executive with impressive background in establishing and leading global transformations and operations. The search was led by Tony Leng, Diversified Search Managing Director and head of the CIO Practice.
Raahauge was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Informatica, a leading independent software provider. Prior to that, she was Chief Information Officer at Riverbed Technology and a Divisional Chief Information Officer at Cisco Systems. She is a Founding Member of South Valley Angels, a membership organization of accredited investors providing funding and mentoring to early stage companies and is on the Board of Directors of MentorNet, a division of Great Minds in STEM. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix.
According to Leng, “Healthcare delivery is increasingly a technology enabled industry, and CHI looked beyond traditional candidates to find a Silicon Valley star to lead its CTO organization.” He added, “As CTO Ginna has responsibility for Strategy, Architecture, Innovation and Digitization. Her background and Silicon Valley network will be an invaluable asset to CHI as it journeys into consumerism.” Raahauge is adept at managing large operations with direct Profit & Loss responsibility, and has special expertise in Global IT delivery and Project Management, Cost Control, Organizational Development, Strategic Planning and Analysis, Contract Negotiations, and Merger & Acquisition Integrations. She is experienced in change management, technology implementations, and corporate re-organizations.
Catholic Health Initiatives is a nonprofit, faith-based health system formed in 1996 through the consolidation of four Catholic health systems. Englewood, Colorado-based CHI operates in 19 states and comprises 103 hospitals, including four academic health centers and major teaching hospitals as well as 30 critical-access facilities; community health-services organizations; accredited nursing colleges; home-health agencies; living communities; and other facilities and services that span the inpatient and outpatient continuum of care.
