Diversified Search Fills Three Board Positions for Navient

January 5, 2015 – Diversified Search has recruited three new board members for Navient, a leading loan management, servicing and asset recovery company. The new board members are former U.S. treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral, Katherine A. Lehman, and Laura S. Unger. The board searches were led by Lauren E. Smith, managing director and Dale E. Jones, president of Diversified Search. Ms. Escobedo Cabral served as treasurer of the United States from 2004 to 2009. Ms. Lehman is managing director at Lincolnshire Management, a private equity firm focused on investing in and growing middle market companies. Ms. Unger is a financial services consultant specializing in regulatory and legislative policy. Most recently, she was a special advisor at Promontory Financial Group. “As a new company, we had a strategic opportunity to build our board with leaders who offered specific areas of expertise and a greater diversity of experience,” said William M.
