DHR Places Charlie Weis As Head Coach At Kansas

January 29, 2012 – DHR International has placed Charlie Weis as the 37th head football coach at the University of Kansas. The search was led by Glenn Sugiyama, global sports practice leader, and Pat Richter, executive vice president, with assistance from research associate Jon Barron. Dr. Sheahon Zenger, athletic director for the University of Kansas, said: “We set out to get the best coach for our program. Glenn Sugiyama and DHR gave us the professional edge in finding and getting that coach." Mr. Weis is a 33-year veteran of coaching, including 16 years in the National Football League. He was formerly head coach at Notre Dame and offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and most recently, the University of Florida.
