DHR International Completes Search for Audobon Nature Institute

NEW ORLEANS, LA, June 23, 2017 Global Executive Search firm DHR International is pleased to announce the successful placement of Dr. Kyle Burks as the Vice President and Managing Director of the Audubon Zoo and Park. The search was completed by Managing Partner of the Global Nonprofit Practice, James Abruzzo, Partner Kara Teising, and Associate Phil DeBoer.

The Nonprofit Practice of DHR recruited Burks from his current position as Chief Executive Officer of Sacramento Zoo. Burks previously served as EVP and Chief Operating Officer of the Denver Zoo and Insight Integration Manager at The Walt Disney Company. Dr. Kyle Burks brings in more than 20 years of broad-based management and animal care experience. Burks earned his Ph.D. and Master’s Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
