Coleman Lew Heading Spartanburg Methodist President Search

July 31, 2015 – Executive search firm Coleman Lew + Associates has been selected by Spartanburg Methodist College (SMS) to lead its search for a new president.

Ken Carrick, Coleman Lew president, and consultant Janet DeLoache are leading the assignment. Mr. Carrick has managed over 200 search engagements throughout his 28 years  in education, retail, manufacturing, the non-profit sector and government. Sitting president Dr. Colleen Perry Keith is leaving Spartanburg Methodist to become president of Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. Eric McDonald, the school’s vice president of business affairs, will serve as interim president until the search is completed. Spartanburg Methodist College is a private, two-year institution of higher learning, or junior college, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It is the only independent, regionally accredited, residential two-year college in South Carolina.

Coleman Lew + Associates has recruited CEOs, board members and senior leaders for national and international companies, institutions of higher education, independent schools, and a wide variety of non-profit organizations. The firm was selected earlier this year by William Peace University to lead its search for a new president.
