Clarion University Foundation Selects Sherman as Development Officer
MACON, GA, January 16, 2017 — Clarion University Foundation has appointed Colleen M. Sherman as Development Officer. She brings experience in development, financial management and planning, and establishing and cultivating strong relationships with both internal and external audiences.
Formerly the Financial Solutions Center Manager at First Commonwealth Bank Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, Ms. Sherman has extensive experience in non-profit organizations and fundraising activities. She served as Executive Director of the Keystone Chapter of the American Red Cross for more than six years and of the American Cancer Society of Cambria, Somerset and Bedford Counties, Pennsylvania, for four years. She also has been the Western Pennsylvania Development Director for Special Olympics Pennsylvania and Sales Manager for Interstate Hotels Corporation.
Ms. Sherman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
