Chris Berger Returns to Diversified Search as New Co-Leader of Human Resources Practice

PHILADELPHIA, February 15, 2017 — Diversified Search, one of the top ten executive search firms in the nation, announced today that Chris Berger, an executive recruiter with more than 25 years in human resources executive search and most recently the co-owner of the Connecticut-based boutique firm, RomanoBerger LLC, will rejoin the firm to co-lead the firm’s Human Resources Practice with Diversified Managing Director Judy Boreham. He will officially begin his new role on March 1.

Berger first joined Diversified Search in 2009, where he led the Human Resources Practice before departing to co-found RomanoBerger LLC. He entered the field of executive search in 1999, when he was recruited into Korn/Ferry’s human resources practice and quickly became part of its leadership team. Berger subsequently went on to work in HR verticals at search firms, Highland Partners and CT Partners. He began his career in May Department Stores’ Executive Training Program, became an Assistant Buyer and eventually transitioned into a human resources career at May. He later went on to executive HR roles with Melville/CVS Corporation and Aetna.

Berger, 50, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He lives with his family in Old Lyme, where he is active in the community.
