Chase Barbe Promoted At Hunt Scanlon Media

May 13, 2015 – April 28, 2015 (Greenwich, Connecticut) — Hunt Scanlon Media today announces that Chase Barbe has been promoted at the Greenwich-based company to Director, Media & Digital Content. In his new capacity, Mr. Barbe will manage the company’s full contingent of media initiatives including Hunt Scanlon’s website where he will spearhead and drive all editorial and interactive content. Mr. Barbe will also oversee the company’s social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. He will provide analytical support to the company’s editorial team, collecting and tabulating data and statistics for the company’s industry rankings reports. As an integral part of Hunt Scanlon’s design team, Mr. Barbe will oversee a wide range of print and interactive advertising for the company’s proprietary media outlets.

Mr. Barbe is a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina where he earned a B.A. in Mathematics and where he was a member of the Elon Baseball Club. He served as a wilderness leader for Alaskan College where he was active in expedition planning and zero-impact camping and, later, was a co-captain of the Sigma Pi Fraternity Team for the Duke Brain Tumor Center 5K Run which helped to raise $10,000 for Brain Tumor Research. Mr. Barbe also served as a sports counselor at ESF Sports Camp in Greenwich and was active with the Boys and Girls Club in Burlington, NC where he was a counselor. He is a lifelong resident of Greenwich.
