Charles Aris Names Two Practice Leaders
April 27, 2017 – Executive search firm Charles Aris Inc. has expanded its services with the addition of three new practice leaders. Established nearly 50 years ago, Charles Aris is a search industry pioneer focused on senior level assignments within the strategy & business development, private equity, consumer / retail, finance & accounting, sales & marketing, education, executive leadership, engineering & operations, chemicals, and agribusiness sectors.
Engineering & Operations
Rick Noel joins the firm as an engineering & operations practice leader focused on placing senior leaders with client organizations in the automotive industry. He joins Charles Aris with 31 years of experience in engineering, operations, quality and project management – including 17 years in the automotive industry with organizations including Johnson Controls and Magna International, and 14 years in industrial engineered products while serving in global senior leadership roles with companies including Danaher and Actuant Corporation.

Aerospace & Defense
Blair Bass has become an engineering & operations practice leader focused on placing operational leaders with client organizations in the aerospace & defense industry. Mr. Bass has senior leadership experience in business management and operations consulting. He has used his diverse background in customer service, business development, project management, IT development and deployment, operations management, inventory management, finance and sales to increase efficiency and improve profitability across an array of functional areas.
Mr. Bass served as vice president of operations at UnitedHealth Group. He has also served as vice president of a global consulting firm, leading its North American aerospace & defense practice. He has led innovation and operational improvement efforts for a wide range of multibillion-dollar and multinational corporations, including Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, L3 Communications and BF Goodrich Aerospace.
