CDI Corp. Records Six Percent Revenue Increase; MRI Up 3.5 Percent

October 30, 2014 – CDI Corp./(NYSE:CDI), a Philadelphia-based provider of IT-focused recruitment solutions, posted third quarter revenues of $295.7 million, an increase of 6.4 percent, compared to $277.9 million a year ago. The company reported net income $5.4 million, an increase of 19.3 percent versus the prior- year third quarter, or $0.27 per diluted share, versus net income of $4.5 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter. Management Recruiters International, Inc. (MRI) third quarter revenue increased 3.5 percent to $14.9 million compared to the prior-year third quarter. “We are pleased with our financial results in the third quarter, including driving a 22 percent increase in operating profit,” said CEO Scott Freidheim.
