CareerBuilder Acquires Brazil-Based Ceviu

April 24, 2012 – CareerBuilder has acquired CEVIU.com.br, an information technology job board in Brazil. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. With the acquisition of CEVIU, CareerBuilder now operates in 21 markets outside the U.S. and, through partnerships, has a presence in more than 60 markets worldwide. “Brazil is one of the fastest-growing emerging economies and a great inroad into the rest of South America,” said Matt Ferguson, CEO of CareerBuilder. “Partnering with the top IT job board in this important market is a key step in CareerBuilder’s international expansion.
