Burns Tempest Launches In U.K.

April 26, 2016 – Executive search veteran David Winterburn (pictured) has launched Burns Tempest, a senior level executive search and selection business that will specialize in a range of assignments throughout the U.K. The firm has opened in London and Leeds. Mr. Winterburn brings more than 26 years of executive recruitment experience to his new venture. He has experience in a number of sectors, including food and drink; banking and finance; legal; construction; manufacturing/engineering; pharmaceutical/scientific; IT; business services; and renewable energy.

“It’s no secret that the most successful companies employ the best people and this is where an exceptional executive search firm can really make a difference,” said Mr. Winterburn. “My ethos has always focused on taking a proactive and research led approach to target senior candidates and business leaders who might not be even considering a career move, but it’s about much more than simply identifying people with relevant experience. I have a great track record of being able to find leaders, who will innovate and make a positive difference in an organization, and this is what Burns Tempest will become renowned for.”

Previously, Mr. Winterburn founded Northern Ireland-based 4c Executive Search, a firm specializing in placing key specialists, operational managers / directors, executive management and board directors across a wide range of industries. Mr. Winterburn also founded Leeds-based Harrison Winterburn Associates, an executive search firm focused on the FMCG, manufacturing, construction, financial services, retail, distribution, telecommunications, legal, public sector and academic sectors.
