BIE Group Adds Three Senior Search Professionals

October 15, 2012 – Global recruiter BIE Group has made three new appointments, strengthening its executive search and interim management practices. Dan Harden joins as a managing director in BIE’s search practice after operating as an independent consultant for three years. Mr. Harden has spent 11 years at a senior level working for Stanton Chase, Russell Reynolds Associates and Odgers Berndtson. Louise Beales and Jim Whelan both join BIE Group as directors in its interim practice, based at the firm’s Windsor and Birmingham offices respectively. Ms. Beales joins BIE from Morgan McKinley, where she was a senior consultant specializing in interim roles. She has more than 14 years of recruitment sector experience and will specialize in filling senior level interim assignments across the finance function. Mr. Whelan is an accountant by training with more than three decades of wide-ranging executive recruitment experience, spanning professional resourcing, recruitment process outsourcing and talent development. His career includes senior roles with Robert Walters, Vedior NV, MPS Group, and Hays. BIE Group chief executive, Rob Walker, said: “Given his background, Dan Harden is a significant coup for us. He will jointly run the search practice alongside James Aston and his experience allows us to begin creating a market matrix-style structure for BIE’s search practice. The aim is to offer clients a more comprehensive search service.”
