Amrop Names Six New Global Hires

January 14, 2016 – Amrop, a partnership of recruiting firms operating from 83 offices in 57 countries throughout Asia, EMEA, and the Americas, has made six new hires thought Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America.

Murat Ayberk has been appointed as a senior consultant in Vienna. He has a long track record in the telecommunications sector as a manager in various leading roles. From his experience in fast-changing business environments he has gained deep insights into leadership at different life stages of a company. In 2013, he founded his own consulting company specializing in talent management and placement of interim management positions.

Gregor Handler also joins Amrop as a senior consultant in Vienna. He comes to the firm after a 10-year career at McKinsey & Co., where his management consulting practice focused primarily in engineering-related industries. He has built expertise in performance transformation, leadership development and culture change. He also started his own boutique as a consultant, facilitator and coach in 2014.

Damjan Kozjak has been added as a director in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He joins Amrop from his previous role as deputy general manager at NLB Bank, managing distressed real estate and claims in southeast Europe. He also worked on financial corporate restructuring programs at NKBM Bank, related to asset management and portfolio investments. At Amrop, Mr. Kozjak works with financial services and real estate clients in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

Tamal Kumar, who becomes a principal in Mumbai, leads the firm’s process manufacturing practice, working with metal, mining, and other process manufacturing clients. He brings over 12 years of experience across diverse industries of commercial shipping, power and cement. Prior to joining Amrop, Mr. Kumar was business development head at Reliance Cement, where he drove strategic initiatives for development and acquisition of large manufacturing units.

Diana Rake has been named a partner in Lima where she leads search assignments for senior executives and board members for local and international companies. She has experience working with clients in industrial, financial services, infrastructure, as well as mining and energy sectors. Previously, she has worked at Banco de Crédito of New York, and has held human resources executive positions for Shell and Antamina. Most recently, Ms. Rake was managing partner of Downing Teal Peru, a boutique executive search firm with international operations, leading senior level engagements.

Olivier Reynaud joins Amrop as a partner in Paris. He has more than 18 years of experience in international search primarily in the professional services, automotive and technology sectors. Mr. Reynaud has conducted C-level searches across Europe. In his previous role as country manager of PageGroup, he managed international teams and P&Ls, focusing on developing and implementing value-added solutions for his clients to expand their businesses. Earlier in his career, he was a financial auditor with KPMG focusing on automotive and industrial clients.

This past fall, Amrop added Rita Garg as a principal in India, Lukasz Kiniewicz as a principal in Warsaw, Nicole Egeda Paustian as a partner in Copenhagen, Chandrasekar R. as a partner in IndiaMichal Lewinski as a principal in Poland, Veronica Anam-Waiyaki as a managing partner in Kenya, Mansour Abdulghaffar as a principal in Saudi Arabia, Jaime Montemayor as a partner in Mexico, and Alex Dayrabekov as associate partner in the Ukraine.
