Amrop Names Head of Global Life Sciences Practice U.K.

November 17, 2016 – Amrop, a partnership of recruiting firms operating from 76 offices in 54 countries throughout Asia, EMEA, and the Americas, has named Tom Bradley as head of its life sciences search practice U.K.

Based in London, Mr. Bradley focuses on executive level searches across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors on a national and international level.

With over 17 years of European line management expertise in both commercial and research & development settings, Mr. Bradley has extensive experience creating winning value propositions, sourcing key talent globally, implementing appropriate assessment and selection techniques and ultimately hiring executive level professionals across research & development, commercial, general management and corporate functions. While working with established multinationals, he has also assisted U.S.-headquartered specialty and orphan drug companies in setting up their European infrastructure.

Joining from Euromedica

He joins Amrop U.K. from his previous role senior partner at Euromedica, a boutique life sciences executive search firm. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Pfizer Ltd where he was head of talent acquisition for R&D Europe, working with key stakeholders to drive the company’s talent acquisition strategy.

Joining Mr. Bradley is Stuart Penney, who comes to the firm as a senior consultant in London, focusing on executive level searches across the biotech, medtech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Mr. Penney has 10 years of experience working with established multinationals, as well as helping build executive teams for small and medium-sized private equity and venture capital-backed biotechnology, diagnostics, genomics and medical device businesses in Europe and North America. He has also worked with clients in the life sciences and associated disruptive technology sectors. With experience working across a number of specialist fields, Mr. Penney also joins Amrop U.K. from Euromedica, where he was client partner.

“We are thrilled that Tom and Stuart have joined Amrop U.K., their high-quality delivery and track record in life sciences is a perfect complement to our existing practices,” said Adam Saunders, managing partner, Amrop U.K. “Life sciences is a key part of our expansion plan as we increasingly become a preferred choice in global search and assessment; helping our clients who are looking for truly global solutions without losing the boutique service levels of quality and personal delivery.”

“We are very pleased to welcome both Tom and Stuart to our global team,” said Ola Jeppsson, leader of Amrop’s global life sciences practice. “We are looking forward to working with them to deliver excellence to our global, international and regional clients.”

Amrop’s global life sciences practice is configured to meet a broad spectrum of demands in the industry across the full range of related sectors including private equity-owned companies and early stage life science companies.
