Alta Associates Announces Inaugural Scholarship for Women and Minorities

FLEMINGTON, NJ, April 4, 2016 — Alta Associates, the leading boutique executive search firm specializing in cybersecurity and founders of the Executive Women’s Forum on Information Security, Risk Management & Privacy (EWF) announced the “Alta Associates Leadership Development Scholarship for Women and Minorities.” The $6,000 scholarship will provide one recipient a full year tuition to the EWF Leadership Journey program. The Leadership Journey is a 12-month comprehensive virtual leadership development program that equips women and minorities with skills and competencies to lead at senior levels and focuses on developing the self-awareness, personal capacity and resilience necessary to flourish in critical roles.

The formal award of the Alta Associates Leadership Development Scholarship for Women and Minorities was made during the gala dinner of ICMCP’s Inaugural National Conference of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals in Washington, DC on March 23-24, 2016 to Melody Balcet, a Service Area Manager for cybersecurity, privacy & information assurance at IBM.
