Allen Austin Names Two Partners In Houston

October 6, 2015 – Global leadership advisory firm Allen Austin has added Rob Easley as a partner and global retail practice leader and Chris Reinsvold as a partner in the firm’s industrial practice. Both join Allen Austin in Houston.

Mr. Easley, who becomes a senior member of the firm’s strategy, purpose and change management practices, conducts senior level searches across all retail categories including supermarkets, convenience stores, drug stores, big-box retailer and digital merchants. His practice focuses on helping CEOs, boards, and senior leaders build high performance leadership teams that drive financial results, sustain competitive differentiation, and build organizational cultures. He has a strong background in store operations, marketing, facilities development, and store merchandising.

With a combination of industry, management consulting and executive search experience, Mr. Easley formerly served as chief operating officer of Rite-Aid Drug Stores, where he was responsible for the integration of 1,800 acquired stores and the development of an industry leading pharmacy loyalty program. His background also includes COO roles at Westlake Ace Hardware, the nation’s largest ACE dealer, and Earth Fare Supermarkets, an organic and natural foods supermarket chain. He began his retail career with H-E-B, where he served in various roles during his 16-year tenure resulting in his subsequent post of chief marketing officer.

Mr. Reinsvold, who also becomes a senior member of the strategy, purpose and change management practices at Allen Austin, brings over 25 years of management experience to the firm’s industrial and natural resources practices. He is dedicated to helping clients within the oil, gas and energy sector build leadership teams in the boardroom, senior executive suite and senior management. His expertise in the global energy industry lies primarily in the oil and gas and the oilfield equipment and services sectors. Mr. Reinsvold has led key executive search engagements throughout the sector, including recruiting multi-functional and multi-cultural teams in merger and acquisition integration, change management and strategic planning.

Previously, he was vice president at Pearson Partners International, where he led the firm’s energy search practice, placing leaders from middle management to the C-suite to the boardroom. Before that he was a consultant with Preng & Associates. He formerly served as chief executive officer of management consulting firm Decision Strategies.

Allen Austin has completed over 400 searches in the consumer products and retail sectors, filling search engagements from the VP to CEO and board levels. Its practice leaders often partner with other consultants within the firm specializing in functional areas, including finance & accounting, human resources, logistics, sales & marketing, technology, risk management, research & development, procurement, and diversity.
