Allen Austin Launches Healthcare Recruiting Practice
August 18, 2015 – Global leadership advisory firm Allen Austin has opened its new healthcare practice with the addition of Brian A. Johnston as senior partner and healthcare practice leader.
Mr. Johnston brings over 25 years of broad-based healthcare executive search management experience to the firm. From Allen Austin’s Nashville offices, Mr. Johnston will partner with board members and senior leadership within the healthcare industry to provide executive recruiting and strategic consulting services across the country. For the majority of his career, Mr. Johnston has focused on partnering with a wide portfolio of leading healthcare organizations in the hospital and healthcare arena, conducting executive searches for board, CEO, COO, CMO, CXO, CFO, operations VP’s and business unit leaders across the nation and internationally.
Previously, Mr. Johnston was the practice leader for North American healthcare services at Stanton Chase International, servicing a portfolio of national and global healthcare clients. Earlier, through his boutique search firm, Johnston Healthcare Search, he provided interim leadership as director of corporate recruitment for Vanguard Health Systems where he managed national recruitment for senior corporate level positions for the firm’s 18 hospitals and numerous ancillary business units.
