Addition of Richard B. Green Extends Vetted Solutions Expertise to Hospitality, Destination Marketing Industry

Effective this month, the Washington, D.C. based firm has tapped Richard B. Green to lead its new area of focus, drawing upon his distinguished, multi-decade career as a senior executive with the Marriott Corporation. While in this post, Green earned widespread recognition and awards for his work on behalf of Marriott in working with a wide roster of associations and other organizations involved in the development of the company’s global management and leadership team, and the advancement of the leadership search and development profession.

During his career, Green had direct responsibility for increasing Marriott’s visibility and market share through active involvement with clients and numerous high-level industry associations, including the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the Destination Management Association International (DMAI) and others. His deep involvement in such groups earned Green roles as board member and chairman of numerous committees.
Green is a graduate of the University of Denver School of Hotel and Restaurant Management and has chaired the school’s Alumni Board of Directors. His wide-ranging intellectual interests also have driven his success as a business entrepreneur, pioneer in the use of social media and thought leader in the emerging field of destination branding.
